We are Carol and Fred Murray of Lorton, Virginia.  We are a retired couple who enjoy restoring beautiful antique trunks.  You can read all about how we got started in our news article.  We have 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren.  We dedicate many hours of our time to restoring trunks for our customers.  It's become a full time job! 

We just know that you will not find another restored trunk as beautiful as one that has been completed by Have Trunks - Will Travel.  We have been restoring furniture for decades and we are very good at it.  Our restored trunks are hand rubbed with tung oil and sealed with a paste wax to give a strong but soft luster to the finish.  We feature a tufted fabric interior using Waverly fabrics. Options include matching trays and cedar bottoms.  Eighty percent of our business comprises family trunk restoration. Your trunk sitting in the basement could become a beautiful piece of furniture with a legacy. Once restored, it will become a family heirloom for generations to come.

We are located in Northern Virginia just outside the Washington D.C. beltway. Due to the demand for our service, we must work on a wait list basis. It takes about six months for completion.
